Compulsory to use Grammarly

Dear students,

From this week onwards, all homework submissions must be run through Grammarly before they are submitted to me. Over the past few weeks, I have found that some of your submissions contain several language errors. When I mark your work, time is better spent if I attend to the logic and flow of your arguments, as well as the higher order lexico-grammatical choices rather than dealing with basic grammar and vocabulary errors. These errors can be picked up by Grammarly, and they even offer explanation. Of course, if you do not agree with Grammarly's recommendations, you are free to use your own words or check with me.

You can access Grammarly at http://www.grammarly.com/edu/. The link is also found on the sidebar of the class subject blog.

To sign up for Grammarly if you don't already have an account, go to http://www.grammarly.com/edu/ and do the following:
1) Click on "Sign-up" button at the upper right corner of the page.
2) Enter your name and institutional email (SST email) address; choose a password.
3) Click "Continue", you will receive an email confirming your registration
4) Click on the link in the confirmation email and you will have access to Grammarly@EDU
